The Early Childhood Education Program was formerly known as the Department of Kindergarten Education. It was established at Buriram Teachers College and has offered instruction since the 1972 academic year. Initially, the program provided teacher training at the Certificate in Education (Por.Kor.Sor.) and Higher Certificate in Education (Por.Kor.Sor. Higher Level) respectively. The program has continuously produced graduates with qualifications that respond to the needs of society, while also serving as an academic resource to support the continuous development of the teaching profession. Since the 2004 academic year, the program has offered the five-year Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood Education (B.Ed. Five-Year Program). เป็นต้นมา โดยเริ่มเปิดสอนนักศึกษาฝึกหัดครูระดับ ป.กศ.และป.กศ.สูง ตามลำดับ โดยได้ดำเนินการผลิตบัณฑิตให้มีคุณลักษณะที่ตอบสนองกับความต้องการของสังคม ตลอดจนเป็นแหล่งวิชาการ เพื่ออำนวยประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูอย่างต่อเนื่อง และได้เปิดสอนสาขาวิชาการศึกษาปฐมวัย ครุศาสตรบัณฑิต 5 ปี (คบ.5 ปี)  ตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2547 เป็นต้นมา
